The food offering at Tír Deli Hatch Street is based on a number of key factors, these include:

Amazing taste and flavours. To perfect a range of smoked meats Shane uses a dedicated oven in the kitchen to slow roast beef, pork and chicken smoked roasted over charcoal and oak timber, he also has a range of in-house fermented cucumber and vegetables to add a unique flavour zing to the sandwiches.

Quality Irish ingredients. Shane conducts extensive research to identify his suppliers of the best Irish ingredients including visiting the producer’s business and tasting the product.

Sustainability: Everything that Shane does in the business is done by applying a responsible approach to sustainability.

Menu items are developed with the changing seasons in mind and feature a selection of culinary practices such as fermenting that enhance the flavours, complementing the locally sourced protein of chicken, ham and roast beef.

Customers can expect a substantial sandwich treat when they visit Tir Deli Hatch Street.

Sustainability

Tír Deli Hatch Street have a selection of sustainable practices in place to ensure they play their part in ensuring a clean and healthy environment in which we live.

These include using compostable packaging and wooden cutlery. Along with minimising and eventually eliminating all plastic packaging e.g. no plastic water bottles.

Furthermore, suppliers are selected to minimise air miles. For example, chicken is from a Co Kildare farmer/producer, pork products are supplied by a Co Carlow farmer/producer, Dexter beef is from a Co Dublin farmer and fresh sourdough and ciabatta bread from a Dublin City centre bakery. All suppliers are asked to decant all deliveries and remove all packaging from the point of delivery.
