THE MARKER HOTEL – GRAND CANAL QUAY, DUBLIN

five farms Irish cream liqueur – JOHNNY HARTE, CORK.

Five Farms is a luxury Irish Cream Liqueur beverage, a sweet drink with vanilla, butterscotch and caramel fondue tones. Best served cold and on ice, if preferred or at room temperature. It’s also recommended to incorporate the liqueur into a cocktail, for example, try Five Farms Espresso Martini.

The provenance of the core ingredients is what sets Five Farms Irish Cream Liqueur apart from its competition. The quality Irish Cream is sourced from 5 dairy farms in Co Cork. The Irish Whiskey is produced by Irish Distillers in Midleton Co Cork and the neutral spirit is produced from milk whey sourced in West Cork from the Carbery group. A true taste of Ireland’s verdant landscape.

One of the hallmarks of the milk produced across the five farms from which the beverage is produced is the multiple generational experiences that are applied to the management of the family farms, the management of the grass pasture, and the care of the animals all to deliver a high-quality dairy ingredient for Five Farms Irish Cream Liqueur.

Fennelly’s of Callan – Callan, Kilkenny

‘P FENNELLY’S’. Back in the day P Fennelly’s was the quintessential – Pub, Hardware and Undertakers that was a feature in rural towns in Ireland. Today Fennelly’s of Callan is one of Ireland’s hidden gems. Visitors to Fennelly’s can expect an amazing Café and a unique bespoke art and entertainment space. The business is operated by Owner/Chef and artist Etaoin Holahan, an enterprising and creative entrepreneur. The unique features of this Pub/Store have been kept and repurposed.

Dining at Fennelly’s is an experience of food freshly made in-house just before service.

As you enter the ground floor, the pub counter is laden with freshly made morning coffee treats and lunchtime house-made desserts. Neatly positioned on the counter is the fresh Barista coffee machine doing its thing to announce ‘good coffee available here’. The back bar is amply stocked with juices, soft beverages, a selection of retail produce and freshly infused tea.

The second parlour room leads to the outdoor courtyard which is full of surprises. You will see furniture reused and recycled to create an open outdoor space and a covered dining area with lighting and heating facilities.
