New Weekend Brunch Menu at The Terrace On The Weir at The River Lee Hotel

Cork’s iconic hotel launches a new weekend brunch menu, inspired by the best produce that Cork has to offer – Saturday June 6th

This fantastic accommodation venue right on the water by the River Lee, is known for it’s first class cuisine based on the produce of Cork. Cork produce, The Terrace on The Weir at The River Lee Hotel has launched a new weekend brunch menu available every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays from 11am – 4pm. Guests can relax and unwind over weekend brunch,enjoying classic dishes on the terrace, while taking in the beautiful views on the weir of The River Lee.

The traditional brunch menu incorporates all of Cork’s best loved produce. Free range eggs from East Cork, West Cork black pudding and Macroom Beef, plus crab meat Kenmare Bay crabmeat from neighbouring County Kerry. Executive Chef Paul Lane brings some delightful sweet touches to brunch, adding our own twist to Super Sundaes and Banoffee pie.

If you fancy a cocktail, he brunch-inspired cocktail menu was created under the direction of our mixologists Finbarr and Colm. Our unique Cork twist on traditional brunch cocktails,  such as The Naughty Detox, a cocktail of Cork dry gin and elderflower and The Brunch Mojito with rum and grapefruit juice. Other new additions to the impressive cocktail menu include the Weir Bloody Maria, a modern take on the Bloody Mary, replacing the classic vodka with tequila. Guests looking for a non-alcoholic option may be tempted by the Nojoito – apple juice, lime juice, mint and 7up.

The weekends now start on Thursday evenings in Cork!  Sharing platters include locally sourced produce, enjoyed with  a refreshing cocktail or craft beer,  to the backdrop of the chilled beats of resident DJ Eduard.  Every Thursday & Friday evening from 6 to 9pm at The Terrace on The Weir. Afterwards, night owls can take a short stroll to Cork city centre,  enjoy all the vibrant nightlife the Rebel City has to offer.
