Long have they known in Clonakilty there was a celebrity chef in their midst. Richy of Richy’s Restaurant and R Cafe was serving up his great food as personal chef to Riverdance King Michael Flatley,  long before he ever set up business in the West Cork town. Now he has hit daytime TV screens on RTE’s Today show, appearing every Wednesday from this week for eight weeks. In keeping with the time of year, he appears in conjuction with ‘Fitman Fran’ to discuss and prepare healthy dishes  to help two ladies drop a dress size for the New Year. Richy’s signature style includes achievable recipes, local produce and heaps of flavour, so healthy eating is made to be enjoyed rather than dreaded.
