COUNT DOWN IS ON…

The excitment is mounting. It’s all go for the Web Summit and Food Summit with Good Food Ireland, running from 4th-6th November in Dublin. Our chefs, cooks, restaurants and producers are gearing up for feeding thousands of people every day of the event. Plus putting on some stunning food showcases in the evenings. A big ask? We don’t think so! We know our network of dedicated people is ready and waiting to step up to the mark and put on an even better performance than they did last year. We have a sneak preview of what delegates, guests and international media will be eating during the Summit. There’s a host of farmhouse cheeses including Knockanore, Bluebell Falls, and Cooleeney. There’s also famous traditional Cork Spiced Beef from Master Butcher Tom Durcan. Couple that with crackers from Foods of Athenry, and Ditty’s Oatcakes, plus chutneys from Ballymaloe Relish and G’s Jams. These are just a few of the little nibbles on offer. Main courses like Creamy Chicken with Mustard, Shallots, Roast Flat Mushrooms and Thyme will be served by Donnybrook Fair. For the veggies, a wonderful salad of Chickpeas, Quinoa and Roast Cauliflower with Rocket, Sundried tomato and Preserved Lemons. Are you getting hungry?! On the sweet front, Chocolate Mousse from Glenilen, handmade chocolates fron Wilde Irish Chocolates and Lorge, and Ice Cream Tubs from Glastry Farm. It all sounds very tasty. Stay tuned. We’ve got lots more food and Approved Providers to tell you about tomorrow…. You’ll be  drooling down your front by the time we’re finished…
