Tutored Chocolate Tasting with Nancy Gilchrist at the Ballymaloe Cookery School

Ballymaloe Cookery School is holding an evening of Chocolate Tasting next week on Thursday November 24th with all proceeds going to the East Cork Slow Food Educational Project. 

Indulge yourself with an expert talk on all things Chocolate with Master of Wine Nancy Gilchrist. Nancy became a Master of Wine, the highest and most rigourous wine qualification in the world, in 1995. There are currently only 319 people globally who hold this title. 

She has recently helped set up the world’s first certified chocolate tasting course. Chocolate has much in common with wine. As a natural product it is highly influenced by climate, weather, soil, aspect and slope. As a result, the single origin chocolate bars that are now appearing on the wolrd market, ahve very distinct and different characteristics. 

A must attend event for wine and chocolate lovers alike!
