The team at Brooks Hotel is passionate about food sources and the menu reads like a lexicon of Irish artisan producers. Signature ingredients include Irish smoked fish, house breads, west coast fish and shellfish, free range chicken and Irish Aberdeen Angus beef dry aged on the bone.

There’s no better way to start your day than a breakfast at Brooks Hotel. The buffet is laden with fresh home-baked breads, pastries and cakes, as well as house muesli, porridge with Irish Mist or a full menu of pancakes, kippers and a traditional Irish breakfast, all cooked to order. Provenance and quality is prioritised and you’ll get to try the produce of some excellent Irish producers who’ve provided ingredients for this attractive array of breakfast dishes.

Brooks Hotel is Ireland’s first member of the Great Whiskey Bars of the World and is a regular meeting spot for the Whiskey Society of Ireland. Their 62 Drury Street Bar & Brasserie has a magnificent selection of over 130 whiskeys from all across the world. The bar is a cosy spot and a lovely place to while away a few hours. If you are alone, it’s a good place to catch up on the day’s happenings with a range of newspapers, or browse the pages of a magazine while you sip. Staffs are knowledgeable on their beverages, so you might even get into a conversation on whiskey, wine or whatever else takes your fancy.

During the day you can have coffee and tea here too and light bites are also served. If you are looking for a real treat, order the Irish cheese board and pair it with an Irish whiskey. Or why not go for a leisurely morning coffee and afternoon tea? Tuck into homemade pastries, coffees and a terrific selection of teas. For lunch, there is a selection of simple but satisfying dishes like seafood chowder and smoked chicken caesar salad. It’s a wonderful spot to chill out and revive after a day sightseeing in the city.
