Good Food Ireland®, a pioneering all-island destination food tourism brand, built on a passion for local provenance was brought to life by our Founder Margaret Jeffares.
Our inaugural awards were held in The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin. Representatives from government, media, the agri-food and tourism hospitality industries attended a high profile event. Overall award winners were Ballymaloe House and Cookery School.
1st Irish food and drink showcase to reflect our philosophy. Chefs and Producers came together to serve delicious dishes based on the Producers own produce. "Podge" the sheep was the star guest and took centre stage in the Great Room of The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin.
Susan Kerr, our Director of Operations was presented with the Best New Business Marketing Award from the Marketing Institute of Ireland (MII).
Invited by Tourism Ireland to showcase Ireland's Food & Drink Experience in Amsterdam, Oslo, Cologne, London, Birmingham, Stockholm, New York and Dubai.
We brought Irish food around the world to South Africa, China, USA, Spain and Sweden culminating in Galway to highlight the quality and taste. We fed the crew of the Irish boat "The Green Dragon" at every port, produced gala dinners and tastings of Irish produce for global audiences.
For three years we brought the best of Irish Food & Drink to the Best of Irish Racing at The Curragh.
Honoured to be invited to represent the best of the Island of Ireland's food and drink, we produced a private dinner for 1300 guests at the British Ambassador's Garden Party in Dublin.
