Established by Chef & Proprietor Martin Lovell, Prime 74 Restaurant is the latest exciting addition to bustling Tipperary Town. Located in a ‘prime’ position on the main street in the town centre, you can’t walk by and not notice this immense building with its beautiful architecture.
The interior is just as pleasant as its facade, a multi storey space wonderfully decorated with sleek modern seating while also staying true to the origin of the building. Large bay windows look out onto the street bringing in plenty of natural light. Just the setting to enjoy a fabulous meal. And what a fabulous dining experience it is!
Martin brings his immense experience to the table when you dine at Prime 74 Restaurant. Having worked in a number of restaurants over his career, including a top French cuisine restaurant in Manhattan, Martin developed his craft and created his signature food style that continues to wow diners. He has a keen passion for using only the best locally sourced produce, working closely with his suppliers and they are given prime recognition in his food offering. Reasonably priced and versatile, there’s something to suit all tastes.
With daytime and evening dining available, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the amazing food at Prime 74. Who can resist a good burger? You’ll find the mouthwatering O’Malley’s Lamb Burger with Toons Bridge Mozzarella on the lunch menu along with the Fish of the Day served with local veggies. Evening dining features a popular 10oz Ribeye Steak dish served with beef fat chunky chips and a choice of peppercorn cream or cafe de paris. Simply sublime. The Wild Mushroom Risotto is also very popular and very satisfying to taste. Fish and seafood lovers won’t be able to resist the Pan Fried Seabass served with butternut squash and curry veloute. Sunday Lunch combines a traditional Sunday Roast with an enticing modern twist using an eclectic mix of exciting flavours. Expect to find Roast Sirloin of Beef or a Roast Pork Belly on the menu. Round off your experience with a selection of tempting desserts which include a Tipperary Strawberry dessert featuring meringue along with the popular White Chocolate Cheesecake or for something savoury try the Selection of Local Farmhouse Cheeses served with homemade chutney and crackers.
