THAT FRIDAY FEELING

It’s the third day of January but some of us are still in party mode.  The short week plus arrival of the weekend means the festive celebrations may continue a little longer.  It’s allowed! It’ll be back to the grindstone on Monday, so we urge you to make the most of this weekend as we approach the end of the Twelve Days of Christmas. The twelve days ends this year on Sunday 5th January. So we are on Day 10, the day of Ten Lords a Leaping, according to the traditional Christmas song. Our interpretation of this is the feelgood mood you may be experiencing today – that Friday feeling that makes you want to leap for joy.  As it may cost a fortune and be practically impossible to locate  ten real Lords to leap for you, we suggest you persuade ten male friends to dress up as Lords this evening to do the jumping around!  Tomorrow it will be the turn of the Eleven Pipers Piping, and on Sunday you need Twelve Drummers Drumming. Great  themes for a weekend party! On January 6th, it will be time to take down the Christmas Decorations for another year, as we celebrate Epiphany and Women’s Little Christmas. A few more dates left in the Christmas Calendar to wrap up the season.Â
