Meet The Maker

Robert and Ciara have focused on the increasing trend that consumers want to know more about the source and the production methods behind the food that they eat. The key selling points of Coppenagh Farm produce include having a small herd size that are raised on a grass pasture along with this the herd is processed locally within 5km from the farm.

Moreover, the beef is produced using traditional methods and dry-aged for 24 days. Robert and Ciara work closely with fellow Good Food Ireland Member and Master Butcher Jim Murphy who is also a neighbour. The beef cuts are then packed in portions and roasting joints ready for purchase. You can be assured that there are very few food miles in producing this quality range of products.

The hero at Coppenagh Farm is the beef reared on the farm. Through Robert’s family business in Tullow ‘Ivan Stanley Hardware’, the Stanleys have been installing and servicing AGA cookers throughout Ireland. Robert developed a love and connection for locally produced quality food, this inspired the business idea to produce hand-reared quality beef.
