Tully Mill Restaurant is more than just a place to dine; it’s an experience. It’s a place where time slows down, where taste buds are tantalised, and where memories are made. So, come, gather your loved ones, and embark on a culinary adventure at Tully Mill Restaurant.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the warm ambience. The staff at Tully Mill were every bit as welcoming as the setting itself. Friendly and attentive, they guided us through the menu, highlighting the seasonal specialties and patiently answering our questions. With our taste buds tingling with anticipation, we opted for a starter selection that perfectly showcased the restaurant’s commitment to fresh, local produce.

The Fivemiletown goats’ cheese with beetroot textures and garden salad was a symphony of flavours and textures. The creamy richness of the cheese played beautifully against the earthy sweetness of the beetroot, all brought together by the vibrant freshness of the garden salad.

For our other starter, we couldn’t resist the turf smoked chicken caesar salad. The smokiness of the chicken infused a unique depth of flavour into the classic dish, while the homemade croutons added a satisfying crunch! Every element on the plate worked in perfect harmony, leaving us eager for the main course.

The main course selection proved to be just as enticing. We opted for the wild Irish hake served with mussels, curried velouté and samphire and the 10oz Irish sirloin steak with Irish whiskey sauce and triple-cooked fries. The hake was cooked to perfection, flaky and moist, bathed in a fragrant curried velouté that danced on the palate. The mussels added a touch of briny richness, while the samphire provided a delightful pop of freshness.

The Irish sirloin steak was a carnivore’s dream. The quality of the cut was evident in every bite – juicy, tender, and bursting with flavour. The Irish whiskey sauce offered a touch of sweet smokiness, complementing the steak beautifully. The triple-cooked fries were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the perfect accompaniment to this hearty dish.

As we reluctantly reached the end of our culinary adventure, we couldn’t resist indulging in a sweet treat. The fresh lemon tart served with strawberry sorbet and meringue kisses was a delightful balance of sweet and tart, the perfect way to cleanse the palate. The sorbet’s vibrant strawberry notes were the ideal counterpoint to the rich lemon curd, while the delicate meringue kisses added a touch of light sweetness.

Our experience at Tully Mill Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm ambience and friendly staff to the expertly crafted dishes using the finest local ingredients, everything came together to create a truly memorable evening. Whether you’re seeking a romantic escape, a celebratory meal with loved ones, or simply a chance to savour the best of Irish cuisine, Tully Mill Restaurant is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.
