CARLINGFORD CHRISTMAS…

Get into the spirit of Christmas at Ghan House in Carlingford on Sunday 14th December. A family day at this cosy country house, where the fourth annual Christmas Fair celebrates everything the area has to offer. Local arts, craffts and food. Kids and adults cookery demonstrations, wine tasting and festive live music will get the feelgood mode going!  

Adult cookery demo is €15.00 per head, conducted by Ghan’s award winning chefs, and gives visitors a chance to see how things are done in a professional kitchen where local produce is at the heart of great food at all times. Some great ideas for Christmas drinks and festive cooking.  Kids have their own session on how to decorate Christmas cupcakes and biscuits, priced at €5.00 a head and sure to keep them entertained! They will also love Santa’s grotto. Everyone can enjoy meeting Carlingford’s local artisans and food producers who will be in attendance all day. Also an opportunity to do a bit of Christmas shopping in the form of Ghan House gift vouchers, chutnies and preserves and goodies from local businesses.  Hotfoot it over to Ghan House and enjoy this  festive family day in the run up to the Christmas holidays. Hopefully,  there may be a scattering of snow to make this pretty as a picture setting even more beautiful and seasonal!
