Dine out this Valentines with specially designed menus for the romantic occasion from Culloden.

Valentines is all about seeing to the finer details to ensure that your loved one feels adored, which means that Culloden is the perfect place to dine with your better half. This is a place that is synonymous with good food, they focus on fresh locally sourced food and then adorn it with fresh herbs from their own garden. This February 14^th treat yourself to a little luxury with their valentines tasting menu.

The Mitre Menu is £60 per person and includes a glass of prosecco on arrival and a set tasting menu designed by the executive head chef. This will be exquisite and feature key Irish ingredients and produce. From Irish Chicken with Crawford’s Granola, to Garden Pea and White Truffle pancetta, to Stone bass adorned with kale, samphire, capers and fresh butter. Expect the unusual; this is seasonal cooking showcased to perfection.

If you’re nervous about the tasting menu than the Cultra Inn is another perfect option, here you will experience slightly more casual-dining and a range of choices for each course. Again you will be greeted with Prosecco, which you can sip while you debate over what to choose from a menu rich in delicious food. Think butternut squash, Crayfish and Prawn salad, Tomato and red onion Bruschetta for starters, among other choices. With main courses from chicken to steak and everything in between that will leave you satisfied for the mains, each dish is paired with a thoughtful side of unusual sides from caramelised onion mash, to tomato braised rice. You won’t want to leave!
