FRYING UP IN ULSTER

Northern Ireland boasts its own version of the Full Irish. The Ulster Fry uses pork or beef sausages with bacon and black and white pudding, and can sometimes include a halved lamb’s kidney too.  Fried tomatoes and mushrooms add to the feast with a slice of vegetable roll – and the famous Ulster Farls upon which soft fried eggs are proudly laid. Ulster Farls are a soft soda or potato based bread, baked in triangles then split in half and fried crisp for this breakfast. Highly recommended!
