No one does glamping better than Justin and Jenny Green at Ballyvolane House in north Cork. They are the owners and managers of this beautiful Italianate style villa dating back to the 1700’s. Their home and spectacular culinary accommodation is surrounding by 80 acres of superb gardens and woodland walks. Amid this idyllic countryside setting, a fairytale wedding with glamping accommodation in the gardens makes a marriage with a difference. Weddings here are more ‘house party’ than formal bash. Bride, Groom and guests have full use of the house and all its heirloom antique character. The magnificent drawing room can be the place for a drinks reception or civil marriage ceremony.  A vintage style tent in the garden is the setting for a wedding feast of local produce. Your big day can be as unique as you wish. As Justin and Jenny say – ‘Barefoot or Ballgowns…we are happy to accommodate…’After the party is over, the happy couple and guests can stay in the comfortable house bedrooms, and the amazing glamping bell tents outdoors. These are no ordinary tents. Made from thickest canvas, and with raised dome ceilings so even the tall guys can stand up inside at full height. Candle chandeliers and lanterns hang from the centre pole to flood your accommodation with natural glowing light. Raised beds have specially designed mattresses stuffed with recycled jeans and organic lambs wool – for the cosiest night’s sleep imaginable. Best cotton sheets and thick duvets keep you snug in your dreams. In the morning, after an invigorating shower in the immaculate wash room,  (complete with hairdryers) and a rub down with the fluffiest of towels, a gourmet Full Irish breakfast is served in the main house.
