PEOPLE POWER!

Web Summit and Food Summit with Good Food Ireland 2014 is one of the biggest success stories of this benchmark brand for Irish food. Twenty thousand mouths to feed daily during the four day event, plus exclusive evening food showcases and pop-up restaurant experiences.  A huge task for the businesses who took part,  flying the flag for all the members of Good Food Ireland. Why did it work so well? A  video on our homepage captures some special moments, and the views of some of the producers and chefs who were on hand to feed the crowd.  The overwhelming opinion among everyone  clearly shows that for independent businesses who offer an Irish ingredient led experience,  moving forward as an army is way more successful than going it alone.  A real team effort was the major factor in this massive operation and it’s huge success and media coverage. Take a few moments to watch the video here and get a true sense of the enthusiasm and passion of Good Food Ireland members. The hard work and dedication of the members in the video represents that of all members throughout the island of Ireland. A network made up of many like minds with one shared goal. To offer the best Irish food experience in approved shops, cookery schools, guesthouses, b&b’s, hotels, restaurants, cafes, and of course, from the producers whose wares form the backbone of the offering. Well done to all.
