Wiith the long weekend approaching, chill out time may involve a group of friends, a home cooked dinner, and lively conversation. We have the perfect party starter to get things going. Hot off the recipe press at Ballyvolane House, a seasonal sip made with a homegrown ingredient from the house’s extremely productive walled garden. It’s all about rhubarb! The pink stalks we make crumbles and tarts with are put to a more original use in a syrup, which froms the base of a vibrant Rhubarb Cocktail. A couple of martini glasses full of this stuff makes summer in a glass. The recipe couldn’t be simpler, and it’s here for you,  courtesy of Justin and Jenny Green, who run the house, it’s walled garden, and fabulous Glamping facilities. These folks know how to put on a party! You can hire the whole house and glamping tents for a magical wedding or special celebration. House guests who come to visit for a short break enjoy the fine period features, little extra touches of luxury and class, and delicious dinner round the dining room table.
