Summer in Bantry!

Summer has officially arrived in the beautiful coastal market town of Bantry in West Cork. How do we know this? A little birdie told us! That little birdie is a fabulous  Kingfisher, as seen on the brand new summer menu of O’Connor’s Seafood Restaurant in the market square in Bantry. Pat Kiely and his team have unveiled the menu in grand style. What can you expect to be delighted by in seasonal summer dining at O’Connor’s?

Obviously, fish is well up there as a menu choice!  Calamari, Bantry Bay scallops, mussels, crab and prawns plus fresh fish from the fishing fleet at the West Cork ports of Union Hall and Castletownbere are set to tempt. Meet lovers can indulge in Black Angus beef from a local butcher , Clonakilty chicken, Kerry Lamb and pork from Jack McCarthy.  O’Connor’s speciality mussels and oyster dishes have their own menu, which also highlights fresh lobster in season.  O’Connor’s is bringing on the summer in a big way. Taste the season on every plate!
