We’ve talked a lot about St Patrick;s Day this month. But there is another important and widely recognised day also happening at the end of March. Mother’s Day falls on 30th March this year, a Sunday as always. In traditional times it was a day when daughters visited their mothers with home baked cakes and home made gifts or flowers picked on the journey. Whilst many of us have lost touch with picking wild flowers, we are still capable of knocking up a cake or some cookies as a wonderful present for the lady who runs our lives with military precision!
