Our Naas Head Chef Mark, a Kildare native, brings a refined classical style of cooking shaped by traditional techniques, precision, and a deep respect for craft. Mark seamlessly combines this timeless approach with the exceptional seasonal produce of Kildare and the wider Irish food community, allowing each ingredient to shine.
The focus of Lily & Wild is on vibrant brunch classics and excellently executed seasonal dishes that use high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.
When we visited, the chef’s French culinary training was evident in technique and balance of flavour, while the heart of the menu remains grounded in Irish produce and seasonality. The mushroom soup, accompanied with brown bread, was particularly well made and had a distinct earthy depth of flavour.
Another highlight of the menu was the braised beef cheek and potato hash – the beef was cooked to perfection, succulent and full of flavour, simply melting away.
The menu has plenty to choose from with a variety of breakfasts served all day. The breakfast ingredients were high quality and properly cooked and a separate specials board offered soup, risotto, salad and desert of the day.
All dishes were cooked extremely well and demonstrated the skill of the chef.
Coffee lovers and casual diners will appreciate the warm ambiance and attentive service that makes Lily & Wild in Naas the perfect place for a morning coffee, relaxed lunch or a catch-up with friends. There are plenty of fresh juices, local Kombucha and house coffee and teas to choose from on the menu.
