Bringing Ireland’s food, people, place and provenance to the international travel trade

Paris, 16th September 2026: Good Food Ireland® joins Tourism Ireland today at IFTM Top Resa in Paris, showcasing Ireland’s distinctive culinary tourism offering to an international audience of travel professionals and decision-makers.

Taking place from 15–17 September at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, IFTM Top Resa is one of France’s leading professional tourism trade shows, bringing together destinations, travel companies, tourism organisations, travel agents, tour operators, media and other industry professionals from across the international travel sector. The 2026 event is expected to bring together more than 32,000 tourism professionals and representatives from 177 destinations.

Good Food Ireland® will be represented on the Tourism Ireland stand, S012, as part of Ireland’s wider presence at the show. As Good Food Ireland® celebrates its 20th anniversary, its presence at IFTM reflects the organisation’s continued role as Ireland’s culinary tourism connector, connecting the island of Ireland’s exceptional food and drink, the people who produce it and the places where it comes from with visitors looking for authentic experiences.

A key highlight of the Irish presence at IFTM will be the special Good Food Ireland® Irish Oyster Showcase on Wednesday, 16 September from 12.30pm–2pm. Ireland’s Ambassador to France, Alison Milton will attend the showcase and meet with Alison Johnston, Sales & Marketing Manager, Good Food Ireland® and Sharon Sugrue, Realt na Mara.

Good Food Ireland® will bring the story of Irish oyster farming to life through Sharon Sugrue of Realt na Mara Shellfish, a Good Food Ireland® Collection business and one of the exceptional Irish producers that Good Food Ireland® represents. Sharon will share the story behind her oysters, connecting them directly with the people, coastline, farming traditions and produce that make Ireland’s food culture so distinctive. Guests will also have the opportunity to taste her delicious Irish oysters at the showcase reception, experiencing first-hand the kind of authentic, producer-led culinary experiences that can be discovered through Good Food Ireland® Experiences.
