Dining at the Garden Restaurant gives you a chance to enjoy wholesome food in informal, relaxed surroundings. Dishes on the menu use the freshest seasonal and local produce and there is a good mix of options to suit most tastes and requirements. The contemporary food is simply treated to allow the magnificent ingredients to shine through in each dish.

Open to guests and non residents, the Garden Restaurant has a beamed ceiling and medieval style chandeliers, which is very in keeping with the age of the original castle tower around which this Hastings Group hotel is built. The room is full of charm and character and had pretty views of the hotel’s gardens. It is a relaxed and casual space but very elegant at the same time and it is a pleasure to linger here as you enjoy good food, wine and service.

On Sunday, the hotel serves up a buffet lunch fit for a King or Queen. The buffet is laden with an array of gastronomic delights including soups, hot appetizers, salads and succulent joints of beef, turkey, ham and lamb and a selection of decadent desserts.

After a restful night’s sleep, start the day with a bountiful breakfast buffet in The Garden Room. Fuel up on porridge with Bushmills whiskey, farmhouse granola or muesli, natural yogurt and fruit, or a cold meat and Irish cheese selection. Of course, you can also try a traditional full Irish breakfast with the works.
