Firecastle has something special to offer its guests, upon entering its doors you’ll be given a warm welcome and greeted by the enticing scents of freshly baked breads and pastries, to name just a few homemade delicacies that are created in house. The offering stretches across a cafe & deli to an exciting grocer full of local Irish produce along with homemade ready meals to enjoy at home.
Open 7 days a week for both dine in or takeaway options across breakfast and lunch, you’ll have plenty of delicious choice from a Full Irish breakfast to sandwiches made with freshly baked breads from the onsite bakery. We can’t resist a good quiche, and you’ll find it here served up with a selection of salads. If you’re in a rush and need that morning pick me up, make sure to grab a coffee and pastry to go. Truly good food on the go. Local ingredients are at the heart of the Firecastle offering, you’ll be re-assured to see plenty of local ingredients used in their menus.

Along with a busy food store and cafe, Firecastle also features newly created boutique accommodation and a state of the art cookery school. There’s plenty here to keep you entertained when you book a stay at Firecastle.
A hidden gem of Firecastle is the beautiful 10 bedroom en-suite boutique accommodation. Decorated with splashes of colour and designed for maximum luxury and accommodation, you’ll have a choice of 9 double/twin rooms along with a family room that comfortably sleeps 4 people. All rooms include coffee/tea facilities along with wifi access. Plush bedding and an ultra modern bathroom will ensure you rest up in comfort. Some rooms also have stunning views of the famous St. Brigid’s Cathedral and Market Square.
The team at Firecastle source their ingredients carefully and champion local artisan food producers throughout their cafe, food store and cookery school offering. A warmth and diligent service and support of all things local has integrated them firmly into the local community.
