This family-run, seaside resort is one of Wexford’s most popular holiday destinations. With its relaxed vibe and luxurious leisure facilities, it makes for a perfect getaway for families, couples and groups. You can choose from standard rooms, suites and family rooms and there is a self-catering lodge across from the main building which can accommodate 8 to 13 people.
The hotel also offers interconnecting rooms which comprise of two bedrooms with a connecting door, and usually sleep two adults and up to four children.
The comfortable bedrooms and suites are light and bright and decorated in a contemporary style. They have all mod-cons including Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs and some rooms have private terraces or balconies and sea or garden views.
Beds are dressed in soft, white bedlinen with cosy manterol fleece blankets from Bottom Drawer in Brown Thomas.
Bathrooms are modern and well-stocked with fluffy towels and robes as well gorgeous ESPA toiletries.
The team at Kelly’s feel strongly about locally sourced produce and are also committed to growing their own ingredients. On-site there are large kitchen gardens and polytunnels which supply the hotel with fresh, naturally grown produce. The hotel also uses waste food, grass clipping, leaf mould and coffee grinds to make compost.
Guests can stroll around the gardens and admire the food which they will be eating in the hotel.
The hotel also has a wood chip boiler – the wood chip is carbon neutral – and the wood is grown and harvested within 80km of the hotel. It is stored, dried and chipped at a local depot in Clonroche, Co. Wexford.
