Good Food Ireland® Proud to Showcase the Best of Irish Food and Drink in Italy
Good Food Ireland® was proud to showcase the very best of Irish food and drink to leading Italian tour operators and media representatives at a recent Ireland Workshop in Milan, in collaboration with Ireland West Airport and Tourism Ireland.
The event provided an important platform to highlight Ireland’s world-class culinary offering, celebrating the outstanding producers, chefs, artisans and hospitality providers who contribute to the country’s international reputation as a premier food and travel destination. Guests were introduced to authentic food experiences and unique visitor journeys that connect travellers with Ireland’s landscapes, culture, heritage and communities.
The evening was particularly significant as it celebrated two major milestones: the 40th anniversary of Ireland West Airport and the 20th anniversary of Good Food Ireland®. These landmark achievements reflect years of dedication to promoting Ireland on the global stage and creating meaningful connections between visitors and the people, places and products that make Ireland unique.
From artisan produce to renowned hospitality and immersive visitor experiences, the event helped strengthen relationships with Italian tour operators and media while inspiring greater interest in exploring Ireland through its exceptional food, drink and hospitality experiences.
