My partner and I booked a break in Ghan House to get away from the madness of Dublin.
We had a lovely time in both the restaurant and relaxing in the hotel and its grounds.
The staff were so warm and even though they were really busy, nothing was too much hassle for them.
Location is perfect, literally smack in the middle of Carlingford in gorgeous grounds.
I would so recommend it to anyone who wants a break away from Dublin.
As well as the tranquility of the hotel and its grounds, Carlingford has loads to offer. Noteably hiring a tandem bike from On Yer Bike to cycle the 7km greenway to Omeath and stopping for some delicious lunch in Wildwood Cafe!
I have seen and tasted all these wonderful mushrooms grown and harvested with love and care – this is Irish farming with a new twist. I have sold these mushrooms to some of the top chefs all over Ireland. It absolutely brings joy to my heart that this business @Garryhinch Mushrooms is a stand out business regarding a successful Import Substitution product. Well Done Joe and Delores!!! Delicious culinary adventurous for anyone who buys your produce.
We are thrilled to offer Boyne Valley Cheeses to our French customers here in Normandy. They have met with great success.
I love Ballymaloe Foods products, the relish is a firm favorite in my house, as is their Beetroot and Mayo. Recently I started buying their Pasta sauces! So delicious!!
Castlemine Farm is a great Irish producer of free-range meats including beef, lamb and pork, as well as poultry. My boys like to eat meat so I buy from Castlemine Farm as their meats are hand reared on a small scale and thus are higher quality than many others. I particularly like to buy their lamb burgers, steak, lamb mince, rashers and sausages. For convenience they offer an online shop with nationwide next day delivery, or a click and collect service if you are local to Galway or Roscommon.
