New Year’s Day


Are you feeling a little the worse for wear this morn? We hope last night’s welcome of 2013 was a good one! Happy New Year! Sorry…we didn’t mean to shout….let’s try a whisper…better still…let’s try coffee. Put the kettle on. Now, open the cupboard. Remove cafetiere and place on worktop. Spoon coffee into cafetiere. Hopefully, it’s Ponaire coffee. Which we happen to like a lot. It’s an artisan hand roasted coffee produced in Limerick.Really rather good. So where were we? Ah, yes. The kettle. Pour the hot water over the coffee. Leave to brew for a few moments. Press down the plunger. Pour into a mug. Sip and savour. Don’t check Facebook quite yet.That photograph of you in the cow design onesie, doing the conga down the street in the early hours, may not be found totally amusing till you’ve had at least another cuppa.  Nice onesie though. So very January…Â
