ABUNDANCE IS US…

Cornucopia means,  among other things, an abundance of good things, often symbolized with a large horn shaped container which overflows with flowers or fresh produce. What an appropriate name then, for a well established Dublin restaurant which has been serving up good healthy vegetarian food in abundance for many a year. This Saturday, owner Deidre McCafferty will be telling the Cornucopia story at The Ecology Centre in Co. Wicklow.  Deidre says ‘ I don’t know how inspiring I will be, but if you get a chance, come along!’ We think she is being REALLY REALLY modest!!  This lady established  an iconic dining destination  when she opened Cornucopia,  and the place goes from strength to strength with inspirational food ideas. The daily menu has been joined by a selection of raw food and vegan dishes that combine good looks with great tastes. So we think she is going to be pretty up there at giving out the knowledge and expertise this coming weekend, Saturday 17th January. The Ecology Centre is set in the Dominican College which Deidre also says ‘is very well worth seeing.’ She’s joined after her talk by talented raw vegan chef Veronica O’Reilly who will be serving up some delicious healthy food for tasting. Go along and be motivated into making healthy lifestyle changes for 2015 – from a woman who knows exactly what she is talking about! We promise you won’t feel one bit deprived of good things, with ideas based on the kind of creative dishes that have made Cornucopia famous!
