Following our blog last week where we suggested some unusual cocktails using Wild About’s homemade seasonal syrups available in the online shop, today we want to tell you all about the cocktail sessions taking place at our award winning restaurant of the year for 2013. Restaurant Forty One @ Residence, situated right on St.Stephen’s Green in Dublin, is the place for a classy cocktail or two,  these summer evenings. Not just to enjoy sipping them, but to actually learn all about how to make them yourself at home. Residence Mixologists Denis Bourbon and John Duggan will lead a weekly cocktail making session during July. These two slick operators can mix, shake, stir, twirl and do all the things you’d expect from city based cocktail experts who have been honing their skills for a long time. You’ll certainly pick up more than a few tips each week for creating cocktails to impress. Each session is casual, informal and fun. The boys promise to answer any questions ‘no matter how basic or silly’ the might seem! In fact, all questions from the group are encouraged as part of the learning process. Classes take place each Tuesday from 8pm, at €20.00 per person which includes two drinks you learn to make on the night. Bring friends, work mates, family. Great night to be had and certainly some useful knowledge to be gained.
