within the walls of the Georgian House.

Owned and operated by acclaimed chef James Mulholland, No. 14 Georgian House is a flagship dining destination within the Taste AND (Taste Ards and North Down) network, which works in collaboration with Good Food Ireland® to promote exceptional food and drink experiences across the region.

Following an independent inspection by Dr. Detta Melia, No. 14 Georgian House was recognised for its outstanding commitment to seasonal menus, sustainable practices and the use of locally sourced Irish produce. Set within a beautifully restored Georgian townhouse, the restaurant offers an elegant yet relaxed setting where the best of County Down’s larder is brought to life with creativity and care.

“We are delighted to welcome No. 14 Georgian House to the Good Food Ireland® Collection,” said Margaret Jeffares, Founder of Good Food Ireland®. “As part of the Taste AND network, this restaurant reflects everything we value, true Irish hospitality, exceptional food and a deep respect for local ingredients. James and his team are setting the standard for what makes Northern Ireland such an exciting food destination.”

Chef Mulholland and his team work hand-in-hand with local farmers, growers and producers to ensure a dining experience that is rooted in provenance and delivered with authenticity.

“Being welcomed into the Good Food Ireland® Collection is an incredible honour,” said James Mulholland, Chef Proprietor of No. 14 Georgian House. “It’s a real validation of the passion and effort our team puts into championing local ingredients and showcasing the best of Irish food. For us, it’s about telling the story of our region through every plate and we’re proud to stand alongside so many inspiring chefs and producers who share that same ethos.”
