Yet again the good folks at Goatsbridge Trout Farm in Co. Kilkenny are bringing home the gongs! No less than five gold stars from the recent Great Taste Awards 2015 held in London, for their trout products. With two silver stars for the unique Goatsbridge Trout Caviar. As Mags and Ger Kirwan said themselves after the event ‘Happy days!’.
The pair are also highly involved with the annual Savour Kilkenny Festival. This year’s festival takes place from 23rd-26th October. The programme is yet to be announced but you can be sure this year’s four day event will be as action packed as previous years. Expect cookery tours, demos, talks, markets, foraging sessions and lots more. No doubt Goatsbridge Trout will be high up on the list of places to visit.
