LITFEST TIME

We hope you had an enjoyable Easter Weekend break. Back to the grindstone today! Ah well. May is approaching, and with it, lots of ideas for wiling away the long summer days. Following on the back of last year’s enourmously successful event, Ballymaloe House is finalising its programme for this year’s Ballymaloe Literary Festival of Food and Wine 2014. Word travels fast from East Cork. We understand there are more than 50 prestigious speakers and published food authors lined up and yet more still in events and entertainment over the weekend of 16th – 18th May. Markets, music, crafts, cookery demos, talks and readings are all part of this major festival, the only one of its kind in Ireland. Record numbers are expected to attend, breaking last year’s large crowds.Be sure and book your tickets for your chosen events, which include Dinner and Lunch events that feature the Irish country house cooking Ballymaloe for which Ballymaloe has become famous. Varying ticket prices according to event type. Click this link for more details
